How to Vote in the Scary Furnace Giveaway
Voting kicks off at 12:00 a.m. EST on Friday, October 17, and runs until 11:59 p.m. EST on Thursday, October 30.
For a “like” to be valid and count as a vote, individuals must:
- Like the Vailes Professional Remodeling, Plumbing, Heating & Air Facebook Page.
- Like the furnace entry photo on the main Vailes Facebook Page (not on a shared post or on the event page).
- Comment “SCARY FURNACE” on that photo.
- Only one like/vote per person.
How to WIN the Scary Furnace Giveaway
To bring home the prize, make sure you:
- Submit your entry by October 15, 2025, in accordance with our giveaway rules, terms, and conditions.
- Rally friends, family, and neighbors to vote for your furnace photo between October 17 and 30. Feel free to share your post far and wide to get those likes! Just remember, shares don’t count as votes, nor do the likes on the shared post; all likes must be on the original post on our main Facebook page.
- Remind voters that their support only counts if they:
- Like the Vailes Facebook Page.
- Like your furnace entry photo on the main Vailes Facebook Page.
- Comment “SCARY FURNACE” on your entry photo.
The entry with the most valid likes will be announced as the winner on Halloween morning, Friday, October 31, 2025! The winner will be notified by phone and/or email and must respond by Monday, November 3, 2025, or the prize will be gifted to the runner-up.

Meet Last Year’s Furnace Giveaway Winner
Felicia Foster’s family endured long, cold months after their 20-year-old furnace failed. Space heaters became a risky necessity, leaving sleepless nights and worry behind every flicker of heat. With sleepless prayers and a mounting fear of fire, they were nominated—and Vailes stepped in.
Their home was transformed with a reliable, safe, and efficient Trane gas furnace and new thermostat, installed by the compassionate Vailes team. Their joy inspires us—and underlines why we keep giving back.

“I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to Vailes for donating a brand new furnace to me and my family. Words could never express how truly grateful we are. When I bought this house in 2020, my greatest fear was that if the heating system stopped working, how would I ever afford a new system? Two years after buying our home, the 20-year-old furnace stopped working, and we were without heat for a few very long months. We used space heaters to heat our house.
